European hydropower industry leaders have issued a joint letter to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, warning that the lack of long-duration electricity storage is hindering the region’s clean-energy transition. India’s Ministry of Power announced that from January 1 of next year through December 31 of the following year, energy-consumption performance standards and labeling requirements for photovoltaic inverters will become mandatory.
